The post
We are looking for a motivated + experienced full time chef to work with us in our busy kitchen, working alongside our existing chef team, Kirsty and Luis, and our cracking FOH team and baristas.
Experience is preferred, but more importantly you must be passionate about and experienced in the following:
• working with fresh ingredients
• a genuine passion for food and an avid follower of modern food trends
• brunch service
• delivering awesome customer service + satisfaction
• any baking experience is definitely an advantage!
The candidate
We’re looking for someone who’s reliable and has a mature and professional approach to work. Whoever joins our team should be friendly and approachable, and capable of working under pressure, while keeping a cool head. Multi-tasking is key!
Core responsibilities
• preparing + cooking a variety of brunch + lunch dishes to a high standard
• plating up food with attention to detail + ensuring consistency in all dishes served
• collaborating with the team to develop innovative menu ideas + specials
• taking instruction but able to use your own initiative
• adhering to all relevant Food Hygiene and Health + Safety standards at all times
• assisting with orders + stock control
